Vernacular Typography

This booklet is an introduction to Adobe InDesign long document setup and implementation of Table of Contents styles; Index creation; Type Variables (dynamic text content holders) and captions. The booklet shows an awareness, setup and use of broader range of grid choices for both symmetrical and asymmetrical content layouts.

This project introduces a similar project to the travel booklet, however, with more restrictions. This project was strictly asking for photographs and text, with no element of design whatsoever. With a 24 page research of San Francisco’s very own Haight Street and photographs of the small businesses.
