Best Laid Plans

I designed a book cover project titled Best Laid Plans that stands out as a personal favorite from my college portfolio. The aesthetic is defined by a vivid pink backdrop contrasted with a series of phone numbers, creating a look that is both graphic and engaging.

I built the foundation using Adobe Illustrator for a bright background and logo and moved into Adobe Photoshop to refine the image. The most rewarding part of the process was the quick problem-solving required when a last-minute change forced me to rethink the layout right before the deadline. Managing under pressure really sharpened my ability to stay flexible and deliver a polished final product, even when the project shifted unexpectedly. It’s a piece that highlights both my technical toolkit and my ability to keep a cool head during the creative process.
